Coloured pencils, watercolour and water-based paints
Water-soluble coloured pencils – also called watercolour pencils – are used dry like ordinary coloured pencils. With a damp brush, the colours then blend like watercolour. They come in sets of 12 to 100 colours. For portraits, there is a coloured pencil set with 8 skin tones, each shade twice, and for arts and crafts soft pastels.
The water-based paints range from the watercolour paint set with 12 to 48 colours to pearlescent watercolours – as a set of 20 or as a set of 6 in quarter pans. Water brushes with a tank for on the go and a 10-piece brush set go well with them.
Ink pads
For wooden and design stamps: mini ink pads in 40 colours (4.6 x 2.5 cm), gradient ink pads in 6 colours and retro-design ink pads in 12 colours with water-based ink, also in gold and copper. You will find matching designs among the wooden stamps.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a difference between a highlighter and a text marker?
No – they are two words for the same pen. Pastel highlighters have lighter, calmer colours than neon ones and are therefore also good for decorating.
What are Mildliners?
Mildliners are highlighters by Zebra from Japan, known for their muted colours and two tips: a broad one for highlighting and a fine one for writing and underlining.
What are watercolour pencils?
Coloured pencils with a water-soluble core. Used dry, they look like ordinary coloured pencils; blended with water, they create soft transitions like watercolour paint.
